We build the tool we wished every farmer had.
Most crop disease is treatable if you know what it is early enough. Most farmers don't have an agronomist standing next to them when they first notice a spot on a leaf. CropCare AI closes that gap with a phone.
Why CropCare exists
A spot on a leaf can be a fungus, a bacterium, a virus, a pest or just a nutrient problem. They look alike, and they are treated very differently. Guess wrong and you pay twice: once for the wrong product, and again for the harvest you lose.
CropCare started with one question: could a phone photo give a farmer a useful answer in the field, in their own language, in the time it takes to walk down a row? We built the Android app to do that.
What we hold ourselves to
Plain answers
A result is only useful if a farmer can act on it. We write names, treatments and prevention in everyday words.
Honest about limits
CropCare gives the most likely diagnosis from a photo. It can be wrong. When a disease spreads fast or a result doesn't match what you see, talk to a local extension officer.
Built for real phones
Farmers use affordable Android phones on mobile data. We design for that first, not as an afterthought.
Stronger together
When many farmers nearby report the same disease, CropCare can warn others in the area before it reaches them.
How the technology works
The app sends your photo to CropCare's servers, where AI vision models examine the leaf for signs of disease, pests and nutrient problems. CropCare turns what they find into a plain result, with treatment and prevention guidance, and sends it back to your phone.
Because analysis happens online, it improves without you updating the app. It also means a data connection is needed when you scan.
Part of CropCare Labs
CropCare AI is a CropCare Labs programme. CropCare Labs is the parent company behind it, and works on more than this one product.
